It’s often sad to see a gap where readers might hesitate to accept different viewpoints or engage openly with the writer. We’re all on a learning journey regarding democracy and press freedom, often through trial and error. Healing our community will take time, patience, and a thoughtful approach spanning generations. We must be careful not to lead astray or exclude well-meaning, patriotic Tegrawot who want to see positive change.
We believe in protecting the freedom of the press, which has shown its importance time and again across many websites. Instead of just chasing likes, it’s essential to consider different ideas sincerely. With such a mindset, true reconciliation becomes difficult because personal interests often come first, followed by the interests of the Tigray people, then Awerajabashing, leaving the country’s democratization for another time.
